Hartford College named in top five of SACEE writing and poetry competition

THE South African Council for English Education (SACEE) awards ceremony took place on November 16 to celebrate the winners in their writing and poetry competition.

Hartford College was delighted to be ranked in the fifth place, alongside schools such as Roedean, King David, Pridwin and St Mary’s.

Nicola Forbes, the principal of Hartford College, had the following to say: “We are very proud of our children’s fantastic achievements and we would like to congratulate our English specialist teacher, Mrs McDonald, for her dedication and the energy she puts into her English classes.

“The children’s wonderful results pay witness to the great standard to education we strive to achieve across all learning areas at Hartford College.”
