McHeem’s hardware, storage for tools and a truck burnt down after a blazing fire broke out on Tuesday morning, November 12.

According to the owner, Hlamasi Sithole, “the fire was caused by people working on his property when they were attacked by bees. They ran away and come back and try to disperse bees with fire and he thought that’s when the fire started,” he said
WATCH:
“About R500, 000 work of damages has been incurred” said Sithole
Some of the workers sustained smoke inhalation after a fire broke out and no injuries have been reported.
WATCH:
Fire trucks responded to the call and managed to contain the fire and completely put it out.
McHeem’s hardware’s core business is delivering sand to local residents and businesses.
