Councillor Faeeza Chame takes elderly to lunch

Chame said the purpose of this was to show the elderly love and reminding them they are still appreciated.

COUNCILLOR Faeeza Chame took elderly people to lunch on September 17 in Linksfield, which is famously known as a museum.

Chame said the purpose of this was to show the elderly love and reminding them they are still appreciated.

The lunch was sponsored by Anusha Singh, Faraday Taxi Association and Linksfield Ridge House.

Chame told COURIER her wish is to do this on a more regular basis but it depends on the sponsors.

“Our seniors were spoilt with a tour as well and they kept on singing and sharing conversations in excitement,” said Chame.

Chame is appealing to the members of the public, organisations, and companies who are willing to sponsor a lunch or trip for the elderly to please contact her on 081 329 7424.
