WATCH: Hamlet Foundation employees demand 12% increment, management offers 0%

JMPD and Moffat View SAPS are on scene monitoring the situation.

HAMLET Foundation employees have once again taken their dissatisfaction to the streets.

This follows after the management of Hamlet and employees failed to come to an agreement regarding increment which the workers have been seeking since April this year.

The employees have blocked North Road in Regents Park with rubbish, tree branches, and bricks in an attempt to send a message to management.

One of the employees Prince Mbongwa said they demand 12% increment while the management is offering 0%

JMPD and Moffat View SAPS are on scene monitoring the situation.

Hamlet’s management, Cllr Faeeza Chame, SAPS, SANCO and some of the employees have agreed to sit down and come up with a solution which will please both parties.
