BOOYSENS SAPS are looking for a man who they believe can assist them in solving a murder case.
A police officer from Diepkloof Police Station received information about an individual who is at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital mortuary.
The officer was informed that the person died at the hospital after being stabbed in his neck and chest.
It was determined that the deceased was stabbed in Turffontein, therefore, the docket was transferred to Booysens SAPS.
Booysens SAPS communications officer Captain Lorraine van Emmerik said Sgt Brian Hlatshaneni took the case and did all necessary investigations. Hlatshaneni was able to collect the information of a person who is believed can assist with the case.
Hlatshaneni is appealing to the person in the photo to please come and submit his statement of what happened as soon as possible to avoid any further problems.
