Locals hold debate competition at South Hills Recreation Centre

Horizon High won the debate and Diversity High took second place.

LOCAL stakeholders, including police, non-profit organisations, businesses and schools hosted a debate competition at South Hills Recreation Centre on July 25.

The eight schools that participated were Diversity High School, Hill High School, Forest High School, President High School, Die Fakkel High School, Horizon High School, Kenilworth High School and Kibler Park High School.

Moffat View and Booysens SAPS, in conjunction with Impact Foundation, Alcohol and Drug Concerns, City of Joburg, CPF, SANCA, Community Safety, pastors, Believers Care Society and SPAR were some of the stakeholders.

Horizon High won the debate and Diversity High took second place.
