Motorists are advised to use alternative roads.
Irate residents of South Hills have blockaded Nephin and Swinburn Road over allocation of houses.
Tree branches, bricks, and burning tyres are being used to barricade the roads.
Residents want to be placed in the newly built flats in Nephin Road.
According to residents, people from other suburbs are the ones being placed in the flats.
Moffatview SAPS are on scene trying to mentor the situation.
Motorists are advised to use alternative roads.
