Eight-year-old in critical condition after accident on Duiker Road, Rispark
Once the child was treated she was rushed by ambulance to hospital.
AN eight-year-old girl has been left critically injured after a car accident on Wednesday, July 17.
The accident occurred at about 3.50pm on Duiker Road, Rispark Agricultural Holdings.
Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision and on their arrival at the scene they saw that an SUV had apparently lost control, resulting in the vehicle rolling several times.
Paramedics found a 47-year-old man and a 12-year-old girl had sustained moderate injuries, while the eight-year-old was found to be in critical condition after being ejected from the vehicle during the rollover.
She required advanced life support intervention to stabilise her, and once treated she was rushed by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
