Daniel Bakwela’s life is currently being celebrated by family, friends and community members.
Hymns, tears, and words of encouragement are the order of the day at Daniel’s memorial service at Forest High School in Turffontein.
People are describing him as a people’s person and respected his teachers.

Daniel was stabbed to death outside Forest High School in Turffontein on Monday, June 3.
He will be laid to rest on Saturday, June 15 in La Rochelle.
