Alleged hijacking in Regents Park leaves man injured

Victim of alleged hijacking left injured.

A MAN (32), who is believed to have been a victim of a hijacking, sustained serious injuries on May 11 in Regents Park.

According to ER24 paramedics, the 32-year-old was shot in his abdomen and ER24 found him lying in his yard.

ER24 quickly treated and stabilised him on scene after which he was rushed to the hospital for further medical care.

“The exact circumstances surrounding the incident is unknown, but we can confirm that when we dropped him off at the hospital he was still alive,” said ER24 spokesperson Ineke van Huyssteen.
