CHILDREN’S homes in the South of Johannesburg, Nkosi’s Haven in Alan Manor and St Mary’s Children’s Home in Rosettenville, are experiencing an exciting year given recent events in the dance arena.

Having qualified for an international competition in Barcelona in 2018, dancers from St Mary’s and Nkosi’s Haven have been enhancing their talents even further through various dance forms, including contemporary, hip-hop, ballet, Latin and ballroom, with the help of Step Print dance studio.

Married company owners, directors and choreographers Zola and Thami Ncube have been working all over the South with various dancers, including from Sir John Adamson High School, to make sure quality performance art is showcased via dance.

Between photo shoots, video shoots, exams, boot camps and competitions, their students have a busy schedule for 2019.

“Our slogan for the past four years is Cement your Movement because we believe through dance we build character, strength and confidence,” said Zola.

These students will be on Shiz Niz on e.tv at 4pm on March 27, displaying the talent the South has to offer. Furthermore, Step Print is offering a complimentary trial class to anyone with a passion for dance between the ages of three to 60.
