Nursery school welcomes SAPS talk with excitement

Booysens SAPS continue to stage crime talks to schools.

BOOYSENS SAPS Social Crime Prevention and Booysens Youth Desk conducted an awareness talk at the Sunridge Nursery school in Ridgeway on March 13.

The talk was on safety, focusing on the dangers of talking to strangers. The SAPS were joined by Felix the Fire Fighting Bunny who talked to the children about fire safety. A fire drill practice was conducted to inspire the young ones and to educate them on the dangers of the absence of parental guidance. The Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) spoke to the children about road safety.
