EVOLUTION Wheel and Tyre from Booysens announced the winner of a brand new Datsun Go on February 9.
Winner Morutwe Rakosa from Ennerdale, south of Johannesburg, was one of 450 people who entered the competition. In order to qualify for the draw one needed to spend R400 or more at Evolution.
When the draw commenced Morutwe was not present but after his ticket was drawn he was called to quickly come to the store and collect his brand new vehicle.
Evolution CEO Sameer Ameen Vally broke the news to Morutwe telephonically who received the news with excitement and it took him only 10 minutes to get to the store to collect his prize.
“I can’t describe the feeling I’m currently feeling. This is wonderful. To win a vehicle is not an everyday thing,” said Morutwe.
Last year Evolution conducted a similar competition where two tickets to travel to Portugal were up for grabs.
“This time we decided to make it bigger and better. Our community needs to know that we are not here to only make a profit but to help in uplifting the community,” said Sameer.
