Develop your skills at Believers Care Society

Classes start from February 11.

UNSKILLED and unemployed youth are invited to apply for skills development training at Believers Care Society (BCS) Youth Development Centre in Turffontein.

They use an integrated learning strategy that does not only address the work skills requirement but also personal development in the process.

Their social programme includes life skills, community service, extramural activities and community outreach events. This means that every learner who is attending course training also participates in social activities that ensure holistic development of a young person.

All their training courses are accredited through respective SETAs. The regulation of the SETA ensures that their training programmes meet quality standards and they have 21 accredited qualifications, making it possible for one to choose from diverse career options.

At the completion of learning, participants are issued accredited certificates of competence and receive job assistance through BCS active Job Centres.

Training courses currently enrolling include: end-user computing, project management, contact centre support (call-centre course), office skills and administration, computerised bookkeeping/pastel accounting and PC engineering course. Duration of the above courses is three months and 12 months respectively. Classes start from February 11.

All services take place at the community development centre in Turffontein. Youth with passion on above courses are encouraged to apply now.
