Church donates food to old age homes

Homes blessed with food parcels.

APOSTLE Simon Okoye of King of Glory Ministries (KOGM) from Rosettenville and congregants joined hands in reaching out to the elderly and orphans around southern areas.

Reuven Old Age Home and Resthaven Orphanage received much-needed food items like mealie-meal, rice, milk, cooking oil, pasta and loads more.

Okoye said the purpose of this initiative is to assure the less privileged and needy that God loves them.

“The society that neglect and abuse it’s elderly and children can’t prosper but is heading towards a gloomy future. We want to make a difference in our society and we pray that God will continue blessing us so we can continue to reach out to those in need,” Okoye said.

DONATED: Elderly people of Reuven Old Age Home couldn’t hold their excitement after receiving food parcels.
