World Giorgio Pagan donates bakkie to Mother Teresa Charity Group

Mother Teresa Charity Group is an organisation established in 1933 with a purpose of helping the less privileged with food and clothes.

OWNER of Wines of the World Giorgio Pagan donated a bakkie to Mother Teresa Charity Group from St Patrick’s Catholic Church in La Rochelle, on November 30.

Mother Teresa Charity Group is an organisation established in 1933 with a purpose of helping the less privileged with food and clothes. The group has helped a number of families in the southern areas like La Rochelle, Rosettenville and Booysens informal settlement.

The bakkie was donated at a good time as the vehicle they were using to transport food parcels to communities was giving them problems.

Deputy leader of Mother Teresa Paul Amaro said: “We are so excited to receive such a donation. It’s truly a blessing to us and to the people who will benefit from this. I believe from this donation we will grow stronger and stronger.”
