Warrant Officer Frederick Joubert honoured

Officer takes a bow.

BOOYSENS SAPS officers said their goodbyes to long-serving WO Frederick Joubert who displayed hard work and dedication to his work.

Joubert has served in SAPS for 37 years, making his debut in 1982. He first served many years at Public Order Policing before joining Booysens SAPS in January 2000 where he served as a detective to date.

Joubert went on many courses and always improved his knowledge where he could. He was later posted to the violent and serious crime unit where he specialised in attempted murder and murder cases.

During the last couple of years he was able to achieve a large number of convictions in the cases he investigated.

Booysens SAPS communications officer Capt Lorraine van Emmerik, said, “Joubert will be missed at Booysens SAPS for his discipline and friendly manner. He was always willing to pass on his information to the junior members at crime scenes and teach them the correct way of doing things. The management and the members wish him many happy years to come and that he may enjoy his retirement.”
