Jackson Drift a cleaner place

Different community structures on the day for clean-up campaign.

WARD 122 Clr Ace Mokoenyane led the community of Jackson Drift in Eikenhof to a successful clean-up on September 15.

Different community structures of the community came together on the day for the clean-up campaign.

“We realise our area was dirty and we agree to tackle this as Jackson Drift, ANC Eikenhof sub-branch, councillors’ ward committee, Child Reach (NGO) and ordinary community members of Eikenhof. The aim is to unite the community and take charge of all the problems we are facing.

“Committee members responsible for the environment in this area will continue with these kinds of campaigns in order to keep our area clean. I also want to thank the ANC leadership, Child Reach and the Eikenhof committee members for helping two families whose houses burnt down. We have found them temporary accommodation,” explained Mokoenyane.
