Father pays for beating son to death

Seisax Boesak finally sentenced.

BOOYSENS SAPS would like to commend one of their own for excellent work in the investigation of the death of five-year-old Caleb Ouman.

Seisax Boesak was sentenced to 16 years in prison at the High Court in Palm Ridge for murder, assault with intent to cause grievous harm and common assault on August 31.

This comes after police received a call from a complaint who requested assistance regarding a father who is assaulting his son badly in Chrisville on August 31 last year. On arrival of SAPS, the child was already taken to South Rand Hospital.

Police was informed that the person who assaulted the child was his father (Boesak) and while questioning people they received information that the child had died.

Police hurried to the hospital to confirm the reports of the death of the child and then went straight back to Boesak’s house and arrested him.

Warrant Officer Joseph Yende obtained all relevant information and all required statements as the case was given to him from the beginning. On August 31 Seisax was finally found guilty and sentenced.
