IN a move that was facilitated by The Hill High School’s governing body (SGB) chairperson, Tshepo Mogase, the learners receive 150 spectacles from Brien Holden Vision Institute on August 13.
The institute deals with previously disadvantaged and poor communities to whom they donate spectacles.
“I contacted them and they were willing to come to our school and donate these spectacles. We are happy for our learners,” noted Mogase.
The principal, Sean Marques, said there’s no excuse for the learners but study hard, he also thanked Brien Holden Vision Institute for the gift of vision.
