Polytech Institute donates to Ethembeni Children’s Home

Learners decided to honour Madiba by giving back to the children’s home.

JOHANNESBURG Polytech Institute donated canned food to Salvation Army Ethembeni Children’s Home on July 31, in Doornfontein.

Learners from the primary school were asked to bring canned food to the school. This donation was a tribute to Nelson Mandela as the school believes that every day is Mandela Day.

“The learners have decided to honour Madiba by giving back to the children’s home. We as the school instil the spirit of giving to these learners so that one day they could be great leaders,” deputy principal Lillian Demba explained.
