Resthaven supporters win handsomely

Three draws were made: electric frying pan went to Timrite (Pty) Limited, spa day at Life Day Spa went to Southern Plumbing and the main prize, which is an MSC Cruise to Pomene Bay, Mozambique for two adults, went to Annalie de Bruyn.

RESTHAVEN Ministries announced the winners of their fund-raising initiative on August 1.

The draw was done by Pastor Kenneth Carew of The Tower Church and Gerda Koegelenberg, fund-raiser for Resthaven.

Three draws for three prizes were made to win an electric frying pan, which went to Timrite (Pty) Limited. The spa day at Life Day Spa went to Southern Plumbing and the main prize, which is an MSC Cruise to Pomene Bay, Mozambique for two adults, went to Annalie de Bruyn.

Gerda Koegelenberg said, “Resthaven Ministries wishes to thank all participants for participating in this prize draw. It has helped us tremendously in caring for our HIV+ orphans, abandoned children and state pensioners, whose own families had forgotten about them.”

Resthaven Ministries started as a soup kitchen more than 20 years ago, is fully registered with NPO and BEE and has evolved to having three homes caring for the above-mentioned. They would very much like to lengthen their arm to assist more needy people as the need is great but they can only do so with the financial donations they receive from individuals and companies.
