FROM June 1 to 30 a total of 225 arrests were made by Booysens SAPS.
These arrests include the following: Armed robbery (10), assault common (22), assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm (14), common robbery (3), contravention of act 2/2003 (1), contravention of liquor act (4), contravention of second-hand dealers act (1), drinking in public (13), drug-related crime (46), drunken driving (24), failure to register business (2), fraud (7), house break-in and theft (4), illegal possession of ammunition (1) intimidation (1), malicious injury to property (3), murder (1), pointing of firearm (2), possession of hijacked motor vehicle (1), possession of stolen motor vehicle (3), possession of stolen property (3), possession of suspected stolen property (15), possession of unlicensed firearm (5), reckless and negligence driving (2), robbery aggravated (3), selling liquor without a licence (2), shoplifting (17), tampering with essential infrastructure (1), theft (12), theft out of motor vehicle (1) and warrant of arrest (1).
