God blessing ceremony 11th album

The live performance was extraordinary.

THE Active Church in Selby hosted a live recording of the church’s 11th album on Sunday, May 27 in front of an electrified audience.

WELCOMING: Pastor Gavin and Vicky Enslin welcomed everyone in the church and advised them to feel at home and they also acknowledged dignitaries.

The ceremony was opened with a short prayer and the pastor of the church Gavin Enslin welcomed everyone with the Word of God from Psalms 50. He advised the audience to enjoy and feel free to dance, scream and most important worship the Lord as the live recording is about worshipping the Lord.

Active sure was the word as the band showed energy in their praise and worship songs which had the audience on their feet from the start to finish. Most of the people that were in attendance were young people, not only Active church members but from other churches as well.

WAITING: Lot of people queued outside to get into the hall where the mood was amazing as people were already singing and dancing.

“The church is packed with vibrant young people which is the aim of the church because we young people are the leaders of tomorrow. Therefore we are being groomed to serve the Lord and be able to do a great commission of God which is quoted in Matthew 28:19, 20. This event is one of the examples that show the church believes in the youth,” said Sibusiso Mazibuko, one of the youth members.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP: This group’s praise and worship songs kept the audience on their feet. During the entire ceremony, the spirit of the Lord was felt.
