Application for Glenvista Residential Development withdrawn

“It was decided to withdraw the application because there are matters pertaining to the protection status of the land that must first be resolved."

THE Comaro CHRONICLE has been informed that the proposed Glenvista Residential Development application has been withdrawn.

“The application, with reference number Gaut 002/17-18/E0185, has been withdrawn and the Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (GDARD) confirmed that the file has been closed.

“It was decided to withdraw the application because there are matters pertaining to the protection status of the land that must first be resolved.

“All registered Interested and/or Affected Parties (I&APs) will be notified of any future applications to be lodged on the land if the applicant decides to resubmit a development application on the land, once the outstanding matters have been addressed.

“Thank you for your participation in the Basic Assessment Process,” said Juanita de Beer, (personal assistant (PA) to owner and public participation officer).

An article will follow in next week’s Comaro CHRONICLE.
