Bluelle sees success in his journey

TEBOGO Kodisang from Naturena is a House and Dance Music producer and a club DJ also known in his circle as Bluelle.

Bluelle started creating music in 2005 while experimenting with music software. His first unofficial release called Being Alone was produced while he was part of a duo called Underground Surface and debuted on popular Yfm in 2007.

In his own words, Bluelle said he has hit a really prominent milestone in his music career.

“I have been placed in a London based radio station, Drums Radio, as a mix DJ. I do the mixes twice a month for them,” he said.

His music efforts have reached chart-topping status in the country during his career so far. The versatile muso was executive producer for South African actor and musician NaakmusiQ’s single titled Not Guilty, which reached number one on Yfm’s Top 40 Chart and also ranked third most played song on South African radio just after its release period. The radio ranking was confirmed by Entertainment Monitoring Africa.

“I have collaborations with prominent South African and American artists like Euphonik, Professor and Nick Holder. My impressive catalogue has gotten me a free music video shot and produced by media powerhouse, Bonngoe Productions, for their flagship show, Club Culture,” explained Bluelle.

He mentioned that some people out there just wait for the opportunity to embrace them before starting something they want to do.

“I say to all young and old people who want to do what they love, it is never too late to start. With 13 years’ experience in this industry, it was no plane sailing. I took matters into my own hands. You need to fight for what you believe in because no one will give you what you want on a platter. Wake up and start working on your project. I do my music, my own PR, my artwork and everything related to what I do,” he said.

Bluelle is about to release a House single before the end of April, together with Siziwe Ngema, and it will be called Ngiyavuma.

He has performed as a DJ on some of South Africa’s greatest stages alongside various respected and well-known DJ’s like Shimza, Christos, Fresk, Euphonik, Vin Deysel, Crazy White Boy and LocNville.
