BREAKING NEWS: Male pedestrian killed on the M1 highway in Booysens
ER24 paramedics were alerted to the scene at 07h20 and immediately responded.
A man was killed this morning when he was knocked over by a light motor vehicle on the M1 highway in Booysens, Johannesburg. ER24 paramedics were alerted to the scene at 07h20 and immediately responded.
Upon arrival, paramedics found the body of a man lying in the emergency lane. A light motor vehicle was found on the side of the road approximately 300 metres away. The man was assessed by paramedics and found to have sustained numerous injuries and showed no signs of life.
Unfortunately, nothing could be done for the man and he was declared dead. The driver of the light motor vehicle was found to have escaped injury.
Local authorities were on the scene to investigate further.
