Showjumping field “as strong as it’s ever been”

Nissan South African Outdoor Grand Prix.

WITH over 50 competitors competing at the open level of 1.5m, a win is hard to come by, which is why it’s anybody’s game come April 2 at the Nissan South African Outdoor Grand Prix.

Kyalami Equestrian Park will host the ninth edition of the Nissan Easter Festival and with free entrance to the 10-day festival, everyone is encouraged to witness equestrian disciplines such as showing, dressage, equitation, gymkhana games, showjumping and more.

In addition, there’s the hugely popular Easter egg hunt, fancy dress and Nissan six-bar competition, too.

Multiple Springbok showjumper Barry Taylor said showjumping is as strong as it’s ever been.

“All equestrians welcome you to come witness the beauty of the horse, the skill of the rider and the precision of their partnership at the Nissan Easter Festival until April 2. The competition will be fierce I can promise you that!” says Taylor.
