The team from Smith Garage, vehicle restorers, joined forces with The Weekend Market to collect ample supplies for the Fremar Home and Door of Hope.

Chantel Canario from Smith Garage said the collection drive began on March 4 and that R8 000 worth of food was collected.

“For about three years we have been helping where we can,” Canario said.

Canario thanked Pick n Pay Oakfield for its support.

Owner of The Weekend Market Paulo Calisto said many other homes would be helped through such projects. He said the Door of Hope and the Safe House would also receive much-needed attention.

Smith Garage prides itself on restoring classic cars.
