Crestview Primary School driven for Cape Town

A primary school wants to be the change it wants in the world.

Crestview Primary School has been collecting water to send to drought-stricken areas in Cape Town.

The primary school collected a truck full of water to help those who need it more, says student governing body treasurer for the school, Bernise Jackson.

Jackson said the school was grateful to Amanda Duarte who volunteered her truck to help transport the bottled water to the Johannesburg water collection point.

Jackson and Principal Mrs Pillay were helping the Grade Four, Five and Seven learners load the bottles into the one-ton bakkie.
