STI and condom week awareness

HEALTH promotion practitioners from Crown Gardens Clinic visited Recovery Life Institute in Robertsham during Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) and Condom Week, to create awareness about the prevention of STI’s and HIV and the use of condoms on February 14.

Yoliswa Biyase, one of the practitioners said they encouraged them to use condoms and be informed about STI’s. “HIV and STI’s can be prevented. The use of condoms is very important. We also encourage them to come to the clinic as there are many other related services that are served.”
