Let’s get tested at South Hills Clinic

World Aids Day is commemorated on December 1 annually worldwide.

THIS year on World Aids Day, Clr Faeeza Chame invited Mrs Africa 2017, Lucinda Peterson, to come and talk to the patients at the South Hills Clinic about practising safe sex.

The councillor would like to thank the entire clinic’s staff and Pick n Pay Steeldale for their support during this event.

“My circumstances will not determine my future because I will defeat them and I will conquer. Get tested on a regular basis and be safe,” she said.

World Aids Day is commemorated on December 1 annually worldwide. It is an opportunity for people to unite in the fight against HIV and for people in government, civil society, labour and business, to show their support for people living with HIV and to commemorate people who have lost their lives to HIV and TB. It is also an opportunity to reach out and offer prevention strategies to those at risk of acquiring HIV.
