FOR the period of November 15 to 27, Booysens SAPS arrested 136 suspects:

These arrests include: armed robbery – two, common assault – three, assault grievous bodily harm (GBH) – eight, attempted robbery – one, burglary at residential premises – two, common robbery – two, contradicting PSiRA (Security Act) – three, dealing in dagga – two, drinking in public – 32, driving under the influence of alcohol – 11, fraud – three, house break-in and theft – two, house robbery – five, illegal prospecting (illegal mining) – eight, keeping a brothel – nine, malicious damage to property – seven, murder – two, possession of dagga – 13, possession of drugs – two, possession of hijacked motor vehicle – two, possession of suspected stolen goods – two, possession of suspected stolen motor vehicle – one, possession of stolen motor vehicle – one, public indecency – one, reckless driving – four, robbery with weapon other than firearm – two, selling liquor without licence – one, shoplifting – seven, theft – two, trespassing – one, using motor vehicle without owner’s consent – one.
