Rietvlei Parkrun celebrates its fourth year

Parkrun is a timed 5km walk or run, it's free, it's fun and it's every Saturday at 8am.

PARKRUN founder, Paul Sinton-Hewitt and his wife Jo-Ann, visited Rietvlei Zoo Farm on November 10 for a fun freedom run.

Parkrun South Africa ambassadors, Bruce and Gill Fordyce also attended the special occasion.

Toni Mackrell of Rietvlei Zoo Farm says: “Rietvlei Parkrun is turning four this month and it is run totally by volunteers. We would like to thank all the Parkrun volunteers for making this event such a special weekly community event.”
