The new drug is said to make horror movies a reality.

If you’ve ever watched horror movies, then a new drug is set to make them a reality. Known as “flakka”, this highly dangerous but reportedly cheap drug is alleged to have reared its ugly head in South Africa.

Flakka is said to be a chemical compound originally synthesised in the 1960s.

According to an online search, the compound is known as the “next-generation bath salts”, a synthetic drug that was banned in 2012.

The drug resembles aquarium gravel. It is a white or pink crystal that addicts can snort, inject or even vape.

Symptoms of flakka use are said to be extreme agitation, jerking muscle movements, delirious thoughts and paranoia. According to the video, the drug also causes psychotic reactions in its users.

The drug compound is said to be packaged inconspicuously in plastic bags labelled “not for human consumption”. It is said to be available online or on the streets.
