UPDATE: Kidnapped girl found safe

“Mondeor CPF and Mondeor SAPS have been working around the clock trying to find Thendo and I’d like to thank everyone who was involved in bringing her safely home,” said Pelser.

THENDO Ndadza (18) from Kibler Park, who went missing on October 22 in the early hours of the morning, was safely located on November 2 at about 5.30pm. She was unharmed although upset.

According to Mondeor CPF precinct chairperson Michelle Pelser, a call came through with information at about 5pm. Mondeor CPF and Mondeor SAPS were mobilised and followed up on the information given. About 25 minutes later Thendo was found safe in Johannesburg South.

Thendo had gone missing after being picked up from a concert and dropped back at home. Her parents hadn’t seen her and on October 23 they opened a missing person’s case at Mondeor Police Station.

“Mondeor CPF and Mondeor SAPS have been working around the clock trying to find Thendo and I’d like to thank everyone who was involved in bringing her safely home,” said Pelser.
