Something different at New Beginnings

Organised by Marla Durga, Mogi Naidoo, Vasenthi Naidoo and Dawn Arumugam, the fun morning was a huge success with all the group dressed in Saries to celebrate Indian Day.

THE group, New Beginnings, who meet at Kibler Park Recreation Centre every Wednesday at 9.30am, enjoyed a day of Indian culture on September 27.

Organised by Marla Durga, Mogi Naidoo, Vasenthi Naidoo and Dawn Arumugam, the fun morning was a huge success with all members of the group dressed in sarees to celebrate Indian Day.

New Beginnings welcomes seniors and younger people to the club, which began in 2003. Every Wednesday they try and do something different, which includes arts, crafts, games and outings. The group also supports outreach programmes.
