Important day at Mondeor Community School

It is so important because we need to learn we are all unique and our differences make us special and for the future of our country to teach children about tolerance and acceptance of each other.

THE Grade Naught classes of Mondeor Community School celebrated Heritage Day on September 22.

Mrs Hall, principal of Mondeor Community School said: “I feel this is one of the most important days we celebrate at the school. The children all dress up in clothes which celebrate their culture and then each child gets to talk about it. We even get to taste foods from different cultures on the day. It is so important because we need to learn we are all unique and our differences make us special and for the future of our country to teach children about tolerance and acceptance of each other.”

IMPORTANT DAY: Mrs Hall with the Grade Naught’s Buhle Mabasa, Eseohe Ohue, Tamia Chetty, Teelin Naidoo and Noluthando Twala.
