Bakkie crashes into pole leaving seven injured in South Hills
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known.
Seven people were injured this morning, September 26, when a bakkie crashed into a pole on the Warden Street in South Hills.
Five of the seven injured people were children.
ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene shortly after 8am to find the bakkie on the side of the road against a street-pole. The occupants had already climbed out of the vehicle and were found walking around on the scene.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that two adults and five children had sustained minor to moderate injuries in the collision. Fortunately, no fatalities were found on the scene.
Paramedics treated the patients and thereafter transported them to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
