BREAKING NEWS: Pair caught with explosives in Robertsham

The vehicle they were travelling in was searched and explosives were found.

An explosive tip-off led to the arrest of a 62-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman in Robertsham this afternoon, Wednesday September 6.

National Crime Intelligence along with JMPD responded to information from an anonymous source about explosives in the Booysens Area.

Crime Intelligence and JMPD intercepted a vehicle with two suspects travelling on Xavier Street in Robertsham.

The vehicle they were travelling in was searched and explosives were found. The suspects are being held in custody at Booysens Police Station for possession of live ammunition and will appear in court soon.
