Patrollers put suspects to flight

The items were handed over at the Moffat View police station.

STOLEN goods in Roseacre were returned to the rightful owner after Moffat View CPF Sector 3 intervened.

On Sunday night, July 23, the patrollers of Moffat View CPF Sector 3 found two suspects pushing a trolley in North Road. When the patrollers approached the suspects, they ran away.

THANK YOU: Nicky Wyngard of Grafika Digital (middle) donated a banner to the Moffat View CPF Sector 3 to be used at events. She is seen with Isaac Davis and Sharon Davis.

After chasing them without success, the patrollers returned to the trolley and found bicycles, welding machines, gas bottles and gas burners. The items were handed over at the Moffat View police station.

The next day a gentleman known to the COURIER only by the name of Jarmine went to report that certain items had been stolen from him. With the help of the head patroller, Isaac Davis, and after correctly identifying the items, they were returned to their rightful owner. Special thanks go to patrollers from Roseacre for their excellent work.
