Papillon Foundation receives top award

The Papillon Foundation is among a distinguished few to receive this community endorsement.

NOW Johannesburg South has a small non-profit organisation that is top rated in the USA. The Papillon Foundation is among a distinguished few to receive this community endorsement.

The Papillon Foundation had to submit to thorough investigations of their finances and each of their social outreach projects by a team of professionals that work across the world. Chartered Accountants scrutinised Papillion’s finances and community members that Papillon has assisted were approached for testimonies about the work of The Papillon Foundation.

The good news is that Papillon emerged, not only with an excellent record but also with applause. The secret to Papillion’s successes is small salaries and a heart of passion for their work. Papillion’s stunning service delivery outcomes over the years were also found to be a great motivator for the award.

DONE: Certificate of assurance.

The certificate that The Papillon Foundation received reads: “Your community has selected your organisation as one of the 2016 Top Rated Nonprofits using GreatNonprofits. You are among a distinguished few to receive this community endorsement.”

Marian Smith, Papillon co-ordinator said, “We are so proud of this award and of the people that supplied testimonies about our work. It is great to feel appreciated and also wonderful to know that we are making a difference. Some of our learners have become CEO’s, cleaners have become clerks and unemployed persons have started their own businesses. These are only some of the successes.”
