KENILWORTH resident, Pule Khechane, drove away with a brand new Hyundai Grand i10 on June 16 at Kenilworth SPAR.

Pule is one of the 50 lucky winners, countrywide, who won a car in the SPAR Win-a-Car competition which started on April 25 and ended on June 4.
He was so excited when SPAR retail operation manager, Peter Swanepoel, and SPAR managers Carlos Alfonso and Hany Awad gave him the key of the vinyl car-wrap design he chose from 50 designs.
“This is great; however, I wasn’t keen to enter at first because you never see anyone winning in most of the competitions. I remember two of the items that I bought on the day I entered the competition – Weet-Bix and Coke. When I got the call from Carlos, I must say I was a bit sceptical. I thought it was one of those scams; however, I realised it was genuine when SPAR head office personnel called me and I was told to go to www.sparwinacar.co.za to choose the colour of the car. I’m so grateful I entered,” explained Pule who used to commute to his workplace in City Deep.
To qualify you had to be a SPAR Reward member and had to buy any number of the qualifying supplier products from any SPAR store. Of course you had to swipe your SPAR Reward card for automatic entry into the competition. Qualifying products were clearly depicted.
