AACL mourns its former employee

The management and staff of AACL Johannesburg extend their sincere and heartfelt condolences to Dave, Patty, Jessica and the family.

ANIMAL Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) Johannesburg is saddened by the recent death of one of its former employees, Maureen Woodward.

Maureen, a lover of animals, worked as their receptionist for many years before retiring at the end of 2013.

Many of AACL’s clients will no doubt remember her warm and friendly manner and her ability to communicate in many languages.

She put these skills to good use even after retiring. She would often volunteer as the interpreter during outreach programmes. On occasion, she also helped out at AACL’s charity shop.

The management and staff of AACL Johannesburg extend their sincere and heartfelt condolences to Dave, Patty, Jessica and the family.
