EIGHTEEN suspects were arrested by the Kliprivier SAPS from April 1 to 18.
These arrests included the following: drinking and driving – three, possession of unlawful firearm – one, possession of suspected stolen property – one, trespassing – one, possession of dagga – 12.
Warrant Officer Happy Nape, the corporate communications officer, congratulated the police officers who did good work, particularly those who performed well in sector policing.
“Members of the community are also encouraged to be alert at all times and always report anything suspicious to the police,” he said.
