Hollywoodbets Alberton supports Kamgelo Community Centre
Hollywoodbets Alberton reach out to organisation.
KAMGELO Community Centre is an organisation that has been doing incredible work within their community for the past five years. Its members care for people who have been affected by HIV/AIDS. Workers visit beneficiaries in their homes and help with cooking, cleaning and schoolwork.
The Hollywoodbets Alberton team decided to pay Kamogelo a visit and show their support. They delivered new uniforms for the care workers, stationery, a computer, doors, tiles, ceiling panels and a whiteboard that will be used for meetings.
The centre’s project manager, Alphoncina Mopaoalo is thankful for the donation.
“This donation has helped us in so many ways. Our home was very cold and the care workers did not have uniforms. Now the house is safe and warm and our care workers are neat and recognisable.
“We also did not have any computers, so now we are able to work professionally and communicate well with people. Thank you very much,” said Mopaoalo.
