Human Rights Month workshop

Discussions will focus on the Bill of Rights and human rights, in general.

THE Johannesburg South Parliamentary Constituency Office (PCO) will host a workshop as part of Human Rights Month, on Monday, March 27, from 10:00 to 13:00.

It will be held at 1 Housing Office, Glenroy, Glenesk Hall (behind the Rand Stadium). Discussions will focus on the Bill of Rights and human rights, in general. The role of the PCO is to engage with various stakeholders and the community on legislative and governance issues, as well as exercising oversight over government.

Relevant stakeholders and members of the public are invited to take part in this important empowerment workshop. Speakers from the South African Human Rights Commission and Department of Social Services will give input and engage with the participants.
