CPF members impress

Moffat View Sector Three CPF members want locals to work with them to achieve.

RESIDENTS of the Moffat View policing area are encouraged to take note of their Sector 3 CPF members and executive committee.

The COURIER met with elected and re-elected committee members who have hit the ground running and already made citizen’s arrests of suspects who have been terrorising locals.

Public relations officer Paulo Monteiro said, “We have increased our visibility. We patrol 24 hours and we have 12 vehicles. We are the eyes and ears of the police.

“We encourage members to work with us to make their community safer. They can report crime to us confidentially.”

Deputy chairperson Isaac Davis said, “People can contact us directly if they want to share information or see something suspicious in their neighbourhoods.

“We also encourage more people over the age of 18 to join the CPF of Moffat View Sector 3 and help us fight crime.

“We patrol areas such as Rose Acres, Moffat View, Unigray, South Hills, Tulisa Park, Elandspark, City Deep, Elendasrock Nature Estate and Moffat Park.”
