Moffat View crime prevention tips

MOFFAT View SAPS officers, including officers from the communications division and the tactical response team, joined forces to spread awareness about crime and distributed pamphlets with safety tips in Rosettenville and Regents Park.

Officers stopped and educated residents about crime prevention and encouraged them:

*always to remove valuables from their car seats in parking areas

*to know and identify the car guard that is guarding their vehicle when it is parked

*always to ensure that their vehicle is locked and the windows are properly closed before leaving it anywhere; and

*to be alert and know who the people are that they talk to.
