THE Glen Shopping Centre is hosting a 2017 Student Expo on May 26 and 27, from 9:00 to 15:00.
This expo is designed to provide both current and prospective students with the necessary tools to succeed in securing tertiary education and also guide them towards a suitable working career.
Students will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from a wide range of universities, technikons, FET colleges and other tertiary institutions to determine which institution and courses best meet their needs. They can also gain insight and career advice from leading field specialists to better understand the expectations and roles of their potential professions.
In addition, students can find out about securing study loans, get advice on how to manage finances when living away from home, should they take a gap year or not, as well as share information with other school leavers and parents.
